Return on investment (ROI) or Return on Ad Spend (RoAS) is a performance measure you should be using to evaluate the profitability of your ad spend.
When running an advertising campaign, you want to make sure you’re hitting your KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and a good ROI. Calculating your ROI when running a campaign with SourceKnowledge is easy!
To calculate your ROI or RoAS, divide the profit earned on your campaigns by the cost of running that campaign.
Note that discrepancies are possible when comparing statistics across dashboards (i.e., SourceKnowledge and your analytics provider). Our platform tracks all sales from customers that we brought to your website, however, if the last click before they purchased came from a different platform, your analytics system will attribute that click to another vendor, thus the conversion to that platform. If you refer to your assisted conversions in your Google Analytics, this offers a more holistic approach to track your customer’s full journey to checkout and will be more aligned with our Dashboard.
When you install the SourceKnowledge Shopping Ads App, your Global Order IDs are pulled from the checkout page, making them easy to track.
The IDs in the Reporting menu of your dashboard will be equivalent to the ones in your Shopify Orders page. When you search for the OrderID found in the Order ID report in your Shopify Orders page, the equivalent order will be returned.
