Vitaly Generates 2 For 1: A healthy RoAS & donates $10,000 to Covid efforts!

 

Background:

 

Vitaly is a Canadian jewelry designer with a flagship store on Queen Street West in Toronto. Established in 2011, Vitaly produces genderless accessories with an experimental approach to design. Recently, during the Covid-19 crisis, Vitaly pledged to donate $10,000 worth of certified medical-grade masks to the hospitals that need them most.

 

Objectives:

 

Vitaly installed the SourceKnowledge Shopify app and created a shopping campaign with SourceKnowledge with the goal of increasing sales by prospecting to in-market shoppers and retargeting shoppers to the online Vitaly store.

 

Challenges:

 

Historically, Vitaly had a difficult time getting display ad units to convert for them when they used other vendors. The Vitaly campaign started in late Q4 and generated a 2.37x RoAS. Vitaly was pleased with these early results. When Covid-19 hit, some challenges occurred due to changes in the economy and general uneasiness of consumers. However, we were able to overcome this with strong partnerships and were able to continue to bring meaningful sales to the online store. 

 

Q1 Results (including March 2020 when Covid-19 was a factor):

 

  1. RoAS: 1.7x 
  2. Total Q1 Conversions: 430

 

Fun fact:

  • The highest converting states were California, New York, and Texas
